Hey!

I’m Cori

I was born and raised in the suburbs outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and for the first twenty years of my life, it was pretty much a basic life in the U.S.

Then I turned 22.

While spending two months in Tanzania, I participated in an HIV/AIDS prevention education program and helped a local school and a gemstone business create their websites. Life as I knew it changed.

Immediately following that trip, I hopped back to the States for 10 days, packed up my life, and moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in September of 2006, and haven’t looked back! Sure, I moved to America for a year in 2009, and then again for a year in 2021, but alas - those moves both only lasted one year before I was back in Southeast Asia.

This brings us to now: at 42, I currently live in Bali, Indonesia, but am planting the seeds for a move back to Vietnam in November…exactly 20 years after I first moved there! Life has been challenging, but I wouldn’t change it, and I have no regrets!

A little bit of this.

In high school, I worked at the local radio stations with my pops; in college, I worked with adults with developmental disabilities and managed coffee shops.

I spent a decade teaching kindergarten and a decade running a socially responsible laptop and travel bag company that worked with artisans in Ghana, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

I’ve been a business consultant, podcast editor, and startup mentor, and I was once an au pair in Switzerland!

Every single chapter of my life has led me to this moment - my experiences combined created a person of service - whose main goal is to help others reach their goals and potential.

I can’t wait for that to be you!

A little bit of that.

I practice what I preach.

I don’t just support other people’s work, I build and run my own systems, too.

I manage complex projects, shifting priorities, and long-term vision inside my own business (i.e., from my bed or dining room table) every day. I rely on structure, clear communication, and realistic timelines. not hustle culture or perfectly color-coded chaos. (That doesn’t mean that color coding and highlighting aren’t my love language 🤣)

You’ll see messy hair on Zoom.
You’ll hear voice notes when typing feels like too much.
Calls get rescheduled when energy shifts.
Plans pivot when new information comes in.

Because that’s real life.

As a neurodivergent person, I design my work around sustainability and structure with pliable walls. I build systems that flex. I normalize accommodations. I value clarity over perfection.

When I mentor or support someone, I’m not handing out theories. I’m sharing practices I actively use:

  • Weekly pulse check-ins

  • Project dashboards that actually get used

  • Clear scopes and boundaries

  • Gentle accountability

  • Built-in margin for human days

I believe structure should support you, not shame you. Everything is arbitrary. Everything is made up, which means together we can make up whatever rules and systems best align with us - in a world that definitely wasn’t built for us.

Working with me provides a unique perspective and support.

Being neurodivergent myself, I understand the additional challenges that come with running your own business, working within a business, and working remotely.

Though I may stutter in our calls, not always provide eye contact, and need to reschedule due to a particularly challenging day - I also provide a safe space for you to do the same.

Things come up, life changes often and we need to band together by lifting each other up and providing support in unique and custom ways. No one should face any obstacles or limitations due to your neurodivergent superpowers!
